About the Coach

Dr. Marcia Lindsey has been helping people make transitions and life changes and develop personal, interpersonal and business skills for over 25 years.

Meeting your goals, getting where you want to go and making life changes that last have been my life's work. I enjoy helping you become the best you that you can be, meeting life's inner and outer challenges and overcoming specific roadblocks to go forward from where you are. I have worked with many types of clients, ranging from college students, business people trying to solve problems and move up in their work environment, individuals with ADHD, dissertation students, those adapting to chronic illnesses, those leaving home as a result of growing up, divorce or retirement, as well as married couples trying to improve communication. Each of these clients has had something to teach me about change.

My doctoral degree in psychology was from the University of Denver in 1980 and I practice in Houston, Texas as a licensed psychologist/ professional coach. I hold certification as a professional coach (CMC) through the MentorCoach Training program, accredited to train mental health professionals through the International Coaching Federation. I also hold membership in the Houston, Texas and American Psychological Associations as well as the International Coaching Federation, and the Attention Deficit Disorders Association.
